Margaret Nickerson

SKOWHEGAN – Margaret Nickerson passed away on Feb. 16, 2024 at the age of 92. Our dear mother Margaret (Stevens, Juskewitch, Harris) Nickerson passed away at Woodlawn Nursing Home in Skowhegan.

Maragaret was born Feb. 1, 1932 in Rome, Maine to the late James and Agnes Stevens. She lived in Rome most of her life and attended the Rome Church. She enjoyed many things: dancing, Bingo and her favorite was being a part of the Ladies Club of Rome. She looked forward to November so she could go hunting. She got her GED and license later in life.

Margaret had four children, 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. She had many friends and family.

She was predeceased by her late husbands Tony Juskewitch, Eddie Harris, and Rod Nickerson; daughter Shawna Juskewich; sisters Melvena Parker, Mabel Roleau, Betty Furbush, brother Wilbur and his son David.

Maragret is survived by her daughter Shirley and Larry of Anson; brothers Steven and wife Andrea of Dunham, and Butch and Dawn Juskewitch of Smithfield, sister Beverly Prescott of Florida, brother Roger Stevens and wife Phyllis of Smithfield; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Family would like to thank each and every one who helped her with her everyday tasks.

Family will let people know in May when her services will take place.
