Carol B. Gerow

HARMONY – Carol B. Gerow, of Harmony, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2024, following a battle with cancer.

Carol was the daughter of the late Paul B. Crabtree and Lorraine I. “Mini” (Anderson) Crabtree. Carol grew up in Peabody, Mass. and raised her children and grandchildren in the surrounding area until moving to Harmony in 2007.

Carol worked as an administrative assistant for many years and had a passion for the creative arts including sewing, crotchet, and knitting. Wherever she lived, Carol was an active member in the church community.

Carol was predeceased by her husband of many years, William Gerow.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Adam and her wife, Lori Maytum, Jeffrey Adam, David Adam, Lori-Beth Gerow, and her daughters Willow and Makenzie of Harmony. In addition, she is survived by her stepdaughter, Stephanie Crawford and her husband Bob; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; friends and other loved ones.

No services will be held, a private memorial may be held later.

In the final months of her life, Carol’s daughter, Lori-Beth and grandchildren Makenzie and Willow spent countless hours caring for her. This has meant time away from work, school, and other responsibilities to provide their mother and grandmother care and comfort in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored with assistance with medical bills and living expenses. These can be sent to:
