Eric Matthew Leonard

AUGUSTA – Eric Matthew Leonard, 77, passed away on March 5, 2024, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Augusta. He was born on Oct. 20, 1946, a son of John Francis Leonard and Mary Catherine Leonard.

Eric grew up in Bath and was a graduate of Morse High School. He went on to further his education by attending Boston College. Following school, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served for eight years in the nuclear propulsion program. Upon leaving the Navy, Eric began a career in commercial refrigeration.

Eric is survived by his six children; three grandchildren; and his three siblings.

A memorial service will be held on May 4, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Victory Biker Church Maine, 163 South Monmouth Rd, Monmouth ME.
