John E. Webber

FARMINGDALE – John E. Webber, 49, died unexpectedly Monday, May 13, 2024, at his home with his wife Michelle by his side. He was born in Rumford, on Sept. 27, 1974; a son of the late Edgley D. and Jeanine M. Webber. Mr. Webber was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School. He had been employed by Gerrity Industries for many years.

Mr. Webber is survived by his wife, Michelle R. Mason Webber of Farmingdale; two sisters: Jessica Corriveau of Rumford and Amanda Elliott and her husband Todd of Rumford; a sister at heart, Helena DeRoche and her husband Ed of Rumford; his nephew William Simmons and wife Chelsie; nieces Cheyenne and Jasmine White; cousin Casey Lynn Glover, who was considered a heart niece; great-nephew Alex Simmons, and his cat Buffykitty. Special friends include Shannon Couture, Matt and Michelle Stafford, Jeff Gilley, Dave Daigle and Christopher O’Leary.

John had an amazing sense of humor, accepted people as they were, and was always willing to lend a hand or pet a cat. He was a proud nerd who liked Star Wars and Magic the Gathering, and he loved his family and friends ferociously. There are an abundance of special people he took under his wing throughout the years, for he had unlimited capacity for love.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 31, from 10-11 a.m., at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta where a brief time of sharing will take place at 11 a.m.
