SEARSPORT — Adawna Landry had two hits and scored three runs as the Carrabec softball team defeated Searsport 11-7 on Monday.
Landry and teammate Ava Welch tripled for Carrabec (11-5), while Aiyana Tibbetts and Macie Plourde doubled. Jillian Robinson struck out six batters to earn the win.
Searsport is 2-14.
WINTHROP/MARANACOOK 14, TELSTAR 10: A three-run first inning put the Black Bears on course to a win over the Rebels in Bethel.
Cyara Harriman, Danika Dunn and Piper Clark led Winthrop/Maranacook (3-10) with two RBIs each. Anna Reay pitched five innings and struck out four Telstar (2-13) batters.
Sarah Chase had a game-high four RBIs and a game-high three runs for Telstar. Maylyn Hastings pitched 4 1/3 innings for the Rebels and Viv Charette pitched 2/3 innings.
