Steven Lloyd Robillard

LAKE WATEREE, S.C. – Steven Lloyd Robillard, 77, of Lake Wateree, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Rene Stephen and Margaret Guimelli Robillard.

Steven was the proud owner and operator of Robillard Trucking, a family business he nurtured and grew for over 25 years. His dedication to sustainable forestry and his strong work ethic made him a respected figure in Maine’s logging industry. Steven’s expertise and passion for logging were matched only by his commitment to his community and employees.

Steven was a lifelong outdoorsman, whose love for hunting and nature defined his life. From his early days tracking deer in the forests of northern Maine to his later adventures pursuing game across the world, Steven’s passion for the outdoors was unmatched. He loved sharing these passions with his family, teaching his grandchildren the joys of nature and the importance of respecting wildlife.

Known for his radiant presence, sharp sense of humor, and strong work ethic, Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane M. Robillard; his son, Steven Lloyd Robillard II, his daughter, Melissa Jane Kelly; and four granddaughters, Erin Kelly, Emma Robillard, Madeline Kelly, and Sadie Robillard. He cherished spending time with family and his two dogs, Beretta and Kimber.

In addition to his parents, Steven was predeceased by one brother, Keith Robillard.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Lake Wateree Baptist Church lakeside chapel. The family will receive friends after the service. A later service will be held in Maine to celebrate Steven’s life – the date is to be determined.
