The Waldoboro Days celebration is set for Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15.
Friday events include a bean supper from 5-7 p.m. at Broad Bay Church, 941 Main St.; car show at 4 p.m. at Delano’s, 2090 Atlantic Highway; and storytelling from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Waldo Theatre, 916 Main St.
Saturday’s lineup includes a pancake breakfast, 7-9 a.m. at Safe Harbor Church, 50 Mill St.; Waldoboro Day 5K at 8:30 a.m., 11 Friendship Road; history tour, 9:30 a.m. at Sylvania, 467 Friendship Road; Old German Church, 235 Bremen Road, open for tours from 9 to 11 a.m.; parade at noon, starting at 50 Mill St. to Pine Street; learning about schools before the turn of the century from noon to 4 p.m. at Waldoboro Historical Society, 1164 Main St.; Pinky LaRue glamping photo booth, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., 995 Main St.
Saturday activities at the Waldoboro Recreation Complex fields, Percy Moody Drive, include food and activities from 1-5 p.m. (park at Miller School); craft fair 1-5 p.m.; time capsule opening at 5 p.m.; and MidLife Crisis plays from 6-9 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m. will be set off from Philbrook Field.
All activities are free. Attendees should bring cash to purchase food and crafts.
