We need an elected official who will show up for us. I’m disappointed in the number of times that our current State Rep. Bruce White has missed critical votes this last legislative session. He’s missed critical House votes on education, contraception, student rights, LGBTQ+ rights, the prohibition of tobacco sales near schools, and other critical core Democratic issues. In many of these “missed” votes, White shows up on all other roll calls in the same day. His absence should be regarded in the same manner as voting against them.

For this reason, my vote is enthusiastically going to someone who isn’t afraid of showing up and standing up. Vote Cassie Julia on June 11.
