
Mary Kathleen Goodwin
PITTSTON – Mary Kathleen Goodwin, 89, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Horizons Living and Rehabilitation Center, Brunswick. Born March 10, 1935 in Loggieville, NB, Canada, she was the daughter of Joseph and Laura (Vienneau) Losier.
After her marriage, Mary became a US citizen and completed her GED. She enjoyed painting, reading, crocheting, knitting, camping, bowling, bingo, and traveling with her husband of 51 years, Herbert T. Goodwin, Jr.
Mary was predeceased by her parents and husband; daughter Penny Goodwin; great-granddaughter Frances Roy; and brother Lester Losier.
She is survived by daughters Karen Brown and husband Richard, and Janelle Bechard; grandchildren Rick Brown, Justin Brown and wife Nikki, Shasta Roy, Staci Roy, Jericho Bechard and fiancée Alyssa, and Jeremy Bechard; great-grandchildren Alexx Roy, Chloe Brown, and Lincoln Parker; siblings Beatrice Smith, Tina Young, and George Losier and wife Coralie; many nieces and nephews; adopted daughter Alane Walsh.
A committal service will be held at Riverside Cemetery Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Pittston Congregational Church. The cemetery and church are on the Arnold Road in Pittston.
