Alfred F. MacMaster

GARDINER – Alfred F. MacMaster, 75, of Gardiner, passed away unexpectedly. He was born and raised in Gardiner. He was a graduate of Gardiner Area High School, and Central Maine Technical College with degrees in business and electrical.

He spent his career working for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1253. He spent his life serving the lord. He was a Lay Minister for the Gardiner Free Methodist Church. He was a volunteer for the Gardiner Food for Thought Program. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dorothy MacMaster, his son Joseph Fisher Sr. and wife Andrea, son Gregory MacMaster and wife Honey, daughter Melissa Pease and husband Lester, daughter Sherylin St. Onge and husband Norman, son Gregory Fisher, his sister Jackie Smith, and 20 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Louise MacMaster, brother John MacMaster, son Herb Fisher, and grandson Aaron Miller.

His service will be held Saturday, August 10, at 11 a.m., at the Faith Christian Church 280 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine, followed by a graveside service at Mt. Hope Cemetery in South Gardiner, Maine. Refreshments will be provided at the church following the graveside service.
