Vicki-Lyn Millett Knight

HALLOWELL – Vicki-Lyn Millett Knight, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with dementia.

Born in France on Feb. 23, 1965, she was the daughter of George H. Millett and Sharon J. Millett (Raye).

Graduated from Medomak Valley High School in 1983.

Vicki-Lyn had a culinary gift, and she shared that gift through working in restaurants, catering and always feeding family and friends. She couldn’t wait to make her next cake, peanut butter balls or Christmas cookies.

She had a passion for animals, and loved helping local dog rescues like New England Lab Rescue and Save a Lab.

Vicki-Lyn and her husband Steven were able to travel to all her favorite places these last few years. She was able to fulfill her life’s dream and travel back to her birthplace in France.

More than anything she loved being a mother to her two daughters and a Nana to her three grandchildren.

Predeceased by her mother, Sharon J. Millett (Raye) and her father-in-law Ralph Knight.

She is survived by her husband, Steven E. Knight of Hallowell; two daughters: Chelsea M. Merrill (Russo) and her husband Kris Merrill of Litchfield and Rebecca J. Kenniston of Augusta; father George H. Millett of Owls Head and partner Marcia McRea; a brother, John H. Millett of Portland; two sisters: Katrina A. Millett of Portland and Annette C. Millett of West Virginia; three grandchildren: Lillian, Maison and Lucas; mother-in-law Aline Knight, sisters-in-law, Joan Cloutier and husband Matt; Deb Brown and Husband Darren; brother-in-laws Ralph Knight and wife Paula; Mike Knight and Marjo; Roger Knight; daughter by heart Darcy Beaulieu (Moore) of Gardiner; sister by heart Terri L. Lewis of Florida; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial in memory of Vicki-Lyn Millett Knight will be celebrated on Aug. 23, 2024, 11 a.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Western Ave., Augusta. A private burial will be held at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Appleton.

Arrangements are under the care of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
