The choice this fall for the 2nd Congressional District is stark.
Congressman Jared Golden fought for America as a Marine in Iraq and Afghanistan and is fighting for Mainers in Congress. He is a husband, a dad, and a defender of Mainers’ way of life who works with both parties.
His challenger, Austin Theriault, is a boy who cares about fame — not Maine. After washing out of NASCAR, he ran for the Maine House as a moderate and served just weeks before announcing his bid for Congress and hugging Trump as tightly as he could. He’ll say and do anything to stay in the spotlight.
Mainers deserve and demand an independent fighter in Washington, not a boy with dreams of fame.
