Hazen Ernest Church
PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Hazen Ernest Church (Retired USAFSMsgt) passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, in his home at the age of 88 under the loving care of his wife, Sauvry and her mother, Saren.
Hazen was born on Jan. 3, 1936, to Ernest and Grace Church in Augusta and graduated from Cory High School. Hazen enlisted in the United States Air Force where he had a distinguished Military career that took him around the world. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served our country for over 28 years.
Hazen retired to Panama City, Fla. where he lived the reminder of his life.
Hazen loved the outdoors whether he was playing golf or enjoying a long walk on the beach.
Hazen is survived by his loving children and spouses, Fred and Rebecca, Cindy and Tony, Julia and Michael, Kimberlee and Rick; six stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters and brother preceded in death by his wife Edith, two brothers and one sister.
Hazen will be missed tremendously by his friends and family.
