We are more than $35 trillion in debt with expected interest payments to be close to $900 billion for fiscal year 2024.
Now, my personal track record for my finances is not anything to be proud of, but I’m not broke. I don’t think it makes a bit of difference who our next president is if this obscene fiscal situation isn’t addressed … and neither have the guts to address it, never mind the majority of Senate or the House. Fire them all for being incompetent. Is it easy to fix? We pay people to become professional politicians and the majority of those in the House and Senate are wealthy with insane benefit packages for their service. Same old playbook that has been used for thousands of years.
As long as we, human beings, continue to go along with the rich against the poor, young against the old, and Black against the white routine, we’re doomed. It’s not an easy task if you are trying to please everyone. There are hungry children, sick ones, homeless ones, our own future all across this country. It’s actually easy to fix, but like our politicians, most of us don’t have the guts for it.
