Elm City Bridge Club
A late surge brought the Elm City Bridge Club team of Su Morrison and Gabrielle Rice into a first place tie with Ken Harvey and Jessie Gunther during the duplicate bridge session Oct. 8.’
Jeannie Reiling and Lynne Kerschner finished third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Oct. 2 were David Offer and Ron Cote.
Jean Bird and Ken Harvey finished second; Nancy Lindgren and Glenn Angell finished third.
The winners on Oct. 3 were Pat Damon and Ken Harvey.
Marilyn Ware and Martha Morrill finished second; Paul Mitnik and Deb Gardner finished third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road in Winthrop.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
