Laura Jones sees a problem and thinks, “What can I do to fix this?”

Laura returned to her hometown after retiring from the Air Force. She noticed it was difficult for ordinary citizens to find out what was happening in town. Laura knows that the key to community involvement is making sure people know what is happening in our community. Laura knew she could bring her skills to fix this problem.

Laura Jones created “Community Matters” Facebook page, then worked with other organizations to up their social media presence. And it’s working. People in Vassalboro can easily find links to the selectmen’s meetings, sanitary district meetings, as well as other events happening around town.

I want a state representative who sees a problem and says, “I think I can help fix this.” It’s one of the reasons I am supporting Laura Jones.
