FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Behavioral Health is set to host a night of mystery, food and prizes on Friday, Nov. 1, at Kennebec Valley Community College’s Fairfield campus.
The event will be held in the Kennebec Room of Carter Hall at 92 Western Ave.
Kennebec Behavioral Health is selling tickets for A Night Out of 80s Mystery, featuring a 1980s-themed mystery show with professional acting group Mystery207. Tickets will be available until Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Mystery207 will set the stage of the crime, providing clues and evidence throughout the night as attendees have appetizers, a buffet dinner, cash bar, raffle and an auction for those 21 and older. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their favorite 80s outfit (extra points for neon leg warmers).
An online auction for the event will go live on Monday, Oct 28 and will end with the event. Anyone in Maine can bid on various items donated by local businesses and individuals.
Tickets cost $70 per person or $390 for a table of six, but anyone working at a school or college in Maine receives a discount. School staff can purchase up to six tickets with a 10% discount by using the School Discount button on the event page.
All proceeds from the show and the raffle ticket sales will go toward KBH’s College Scholarship Fund. Each year, KBH awards several scholarships to local graduating high school seniors who are pursuing their academic and career goals in the mental health field.
