Erdine Mae Carter

MOSCOW – Erdine Mae Carter went Home to her Lord Oct. 18, 2024, and at her request, was laid to rest with her husband “Joe” Carter with immediate family only.

Erdine was a seamstress, designing and making everything from Barbie and Ken outfits to wedding and prom gowns. Quilts at Christmas were anxiously waited for by her family, and later in life she donated 3,000+ quilts to Project Linus. Along with her sewing, she enjoyed playing her guitar, singing country and gospel music, bird watching and gardening.

Erdine is survived by her daughter Lynne and her husband Gerry of Moscow, their son Greg Cates and his wife Jennifer of Bingham, great grandson Austin Cates and his wife Amy of Moscow; her son Brad Barrett and his wife Kathy of Moscow, and their son Chad Barrett and his wife Rose of Winterport.

Per Erdine’s wishes, there will be no public services.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in her name to:

Andwell Health Partners (Androscoggin) Hospice and:

the activities department at Orchard Rehab and Living Ctr. in Farmington
