Many Americans are dismayed, saddened and tired of the political divisiveness that for a decade has dominated our lives.
There’s also a rising fear that a president — whose own authoritarian pronouncements threaten our very Constitution — may be elected by only a minority of the popular vote because of the Electoral College.
The post-pandemic American economy has rebounded. Whatever one’s political bias, there is another good reason to vote for Kamala Harris and the Democratic ticket. Harris will govern in a spirit of bipartisan negotiation. It’s a way of valuing multiple voices in the legislative process.
As attorney general from California, a U.S. senator and now vice president, Harris is politically seasoned. She has the background, experience and character to be president of the United States.
On Nov. 5, vote for Harris and the Democratic ticket.
