HOUSTON, TEXAS — People can celebrate the holidays in a fun and healthy way with family and friends — along with thousands of festive runners and walkers around the county — by joining the Santa Hustle Virtual Race.

Whether it’s the marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K, participants can join in at the location of their choice anytime during December. Proceeds support Trees for Troops, a nonprofit that provides Christmas trees to U.S. military families.

People can get a group together and run or walk at a time that fits into busy holiday schedules. Virtual event participants receive Santa Hustle swag with their registration, including long-sleeved shirts and beanies, and a holiday-themed finisher medal. Swag can be upgraded with exclusive holiday options, including a full Santa or Mrs. Claus costume.

Virtual Santa “Hustlers” also receive a box of treats delivered to their door, along with a downloadable Santa Hustle playlist to add some extra holiday spirit.

The top three finishers in each age group will receive customized Santa Hustle medals, with all finishers awarded a keepsake medal. Participants can join the virtual community to share photos and connect with other virtual participants at facebook.com/SantaHustle.
