DENMARK — An Evening with Stephanie Hollenberg and Luke Concannon will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at Demark Arts Center, 50 West Main St.
Renowned for his magnetic live performances and ‘direct-from-the-heart’ songs, #1 UK chart artist Luke Concannon has something special. Performing with his wife, the classically trained singer Stephanie Hollenberg, the duo present an evening of musical passion and audience participation that will become one of those gigs that live long in the memory. Somewhere between the Celtic soul of Van Morrison, and the deep lyricism of Leonard Cohen.
Luke will have just finished a two-day artist in residence with student of Maine School Administrative District 72 with the splendid guidance of music teacher Christina Zahn. Students will focus on songwriting, rhythm, and composition.
This performance is supported by a grant from Ham Foundation, Robert & Dorothy Goldberg Foundation, and Onion Foundation.
Tickets cost $15 supporting the Music Series and Denmark Arts Center.
