University of Maine Cooperative Extension is offering eight new bundles of prerecorded webinars on gardening-related topics.
The On Demand Webinar bundles include three-to-four webinars and related resources that can make good gifts for gardeners, according to a news release from Melissa Arndt, director of marking and communications, University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
New topics include: ornamental garden design and maintenance, garden problem solving, homesteading, decorating with nature, and a range of crops from mushrooms to cranberries. This is in addition to bundles already available on home orchards, natives, compost and soil health, and seed selection and starting.
The bundles are offered on a sliding scale fee ($7.50-$30). For more information and links to purchase the bundles, visit extension.umaine.edu.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
