I think that Judy Ayotte Paradis (letter, “We’re being nagged to death by this administration,” March 15) also should have noted the fact that we are being “nagged” by a majority of politicians, not just one individual or one particular party.
Our elected officials have become the “entitlement” class, and they are doing everything within their powers to deny others of the advantages they have given themselves. Whether it be health care, retirement benefits, taxes or fees, etc., our elected officials (from local to federal) have become the slavemakers by picking and choosing who will be entitled to what and for how long. All this in the name of a political career, and there lies the problem and it is our (the voters) own doing. And, until we wake up and accept that fact, nothing will ever change.
