WATERVILLE — A “Battle of the Badges” basketball game — a showdown between the Waterville police and fire departments — is scheduled to begin with tip-off at noon on Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Alfond Youth & Community Center, 126 North St.
The game will raise funds for the Unified Champion Club and the Pay-What-You-Can Program at the AYCC.
Admission is free. Time-out and halftime crowd games give attendees the chance to win prizes. Fundraising opportunities will be available for contributions.
Events sponsors are Central Maine Motors Auto Group and the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation.
