AUGUSTA — Ocean State Job Lot recently held a grand opening for its Augusta location at 42 Whitten Road.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Augusta Mayor Mark O’Brien and Ocean State Job Lot personnel. Festivities also included complimentary caricatures, photos with Santa, giveaways and a live broadcast with DJs from Cruisin’ 93.5.

Located in the former Christmas Tree Shops space, this is Ocean State Job Lot’s eighth store in Maine and first in Kennebec County.

The store’s Charitable Foundation donated 50 warm winter coats to American Legion Fitzgerald-Cummings Post 2 in Augusta.
