Gladys Emma Chase
BURNHAM – Gladys Emma Chase, 77, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024. Gladys was born in Troy, on Dec. 14, 1947, the daughter of Thomas and Thelma (Richardson) Condon. She attended Troy schools and Mount View High School.
Gladys was known for her sense of humor and her love of animals. She had a beautiful flower garden and loved to bake apple pies.
Gladys was predeceased by both her parents, husbands Noble “Whitey” Hall and Edward Chase, and most recently by her partner Donald Towers, as well as seven of her nine siblings.
Gladys is survived by her sisters, Ethel Chamberlain of Benton and Pearl Butler with her spouse, Michael Butler, of Stratton. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, as well as a host of dear friends in the community who affectionately called her Auntie.
She will be laid to rest in Rogers Cemetery in Troy with her late husband Edward Chase. A graveside service and a celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2025.
