WATERVILLE — Thomas College’s Executive Director of Student Financial Services Jeannine Ross was recently named the only registered individual in Maine with the Financial Aid Administrator Certification currently in the 100+ Club.
The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators’s 100+ Club is a prestigious group of financial aid professionals that have gone above and beyond the minimum requirements for maintaining the FAAC designation by recertifying with 100 or more recertification points, according to a news release from MacKenzie Young, director of marketing and communications at Thomas College.
Ross holds these additional financial aid credentials beyond what is required for her position. This allows her to help students and families with financial aid decisions and counseling in the most effective way possible.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
