WALDOBORO — Bearly Dead:A Tribute to The Grateful Dead is planned to begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Waldo Theatre, 916 Main St.
The Boston-based quintet performs a concert-style show that celebrates the journey of the Grateful Dead from their earliest records until their final tours. The band delivers a full-spectrum concert experience filled with danceable energy.
Each and every Grateful Dead member is honored through a collection of classics, b-sides, deep cuts and exploratory jams. Bearly Dead frequently adds to their 250-plus song catalog and continues to showcase authentic, spontaneous improvisation — live and in-person — making each show a unique experience.
Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 the day of the event, if available. A limited amount of Front Row tickets will be available for $40.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
