Isn’t the job of government to make our lives better? How is this president making anyone’s life better?
He said he might be dictator on Day One, but he seems to be continuing in that regard. In taking away the security details from anyone who has apposed it, he seems to be saying, “I hope you die.” By putting a spending freeze monies for Meals on Wheels, fuel assistance and Head Start, among other much-needed programs, is he saying, “I don’t care.” Is he going to use that money to pursue his prosecution of immigrants? Or to give tax breaks to the rich, who don’t need his help.
What kind of country are we becoming? What kind of president have we elected? Will we ever be given the chance to vote again? That day can’t come soon enough.
