New digital-only ePapers serving the southern part of the state launched this week. They are written and produced by the Maine Trust for Local News community reporters.

The ePapers are linked and branded to each reporter’s digital newsletters: Cape-SoPo-Scarborough Now, Lakes Region Now, Westbrook-Gorham Now, Cumberland-Yarmouth Now, Falmouth Now, Biddeford-Saco Now and Kennebunk Now. Readers can subscribe to the free newsletters at pressherald.com/newsletters.

Readers can find the editions through links in community newsletters, by signing up for email alerts when the editions are published, or by visiting the ePaper page that showcases all digital editions from The Maine Trust for Local News.

The shift to digital-only products comes following the final print editions of free weekly newspapers in the region: the Portland Forecaster, Northern Forecaster, American Journal, Courier, Lakes Region Weekly, Post, Leader and Sentry.

All five reporters who wrote for those print publications will continue covering the region for their digital newsletters and associated digital ePapers.
