I am tired of waking up each morning to hear what the Trump administration has taken away from us. I am tired of the grifting, of taking advantage of the vulnerable, and of removing rights from citizens.
I am tired of being represented by Sen. Susan Collins, who pretends to be a moderate Republican while going to Mar-a-Lago and voting against MAGA only when her vote will not change the results. I am tired of a president who believes that he is above the law (with some justification). I am tired of the hate and fear-mongering in our country. I am tired and this administration has only been in Washington for a little over two months.
So what will I do? I will continue to pray for the poor and underprivileged, and put wings on my prayers as I am able. I will continue to donate to and volunteer at the local food pantry. I will continue to write emails to my representatives. I will continue to speak truth to anyone who is receptive. I will continue to stay informed.
We live in a difficult time. Please join me in doing what we can to support others.
