We the people need to strongly oppose President Trump’s plan to have a military parade on June 14 in honor of his 79th birthday. He is justifying the parade by saying it is also a celebration of the Army’s 250th anniversary. It is beyond appalling that the parade will cost tens of millions of our taxpayer dollars while our government is being ripped apart because of so-called efficiency and savings.
Military parades are the go-to for Russia and China. We do not have to copy these dictators to benefit Trump’s ego. We the people need to stop this ridiculous charade.
