As we watch the Trump regime ransack the federal government and trash the Constitution, Rep. Jared Golden chooses to level his criticisms at the grassroots organization Indivisible, calling it divisive and questioning its financing. If pushing back on the fascist regime in Washington, D.C., is divisive, then I guess that moniker fits.
It’s not even an original attack. One of Golden’s Republican colleagues in Michigan has leveled the same criticism, equating the small-dollar donations and grants that Indivisible receives with the vast sums contributed by deep pockets and corporations.
Rather than concerning himself with the implications of the $300 million that Elon Musk spent to buy the presidency and the daily assaults on our Constitution, Golden spends his political capital criticizing constituents.
Using this criticism of Indivisible to justify not holding in-person town halls is disingenuous and cowardly.
