Portland Hearts of Pine coach Bobby Murphy was named the Coach of the Week for Round 2 of the Jagermeister Cup, the USL announced Tuesday.
Also, midfielder Jay Tee Kamara was named to the Team of the Week and midfielder Natty James earned bench honors.
Portland enjoyed its best offensive showing of the season on Saturday, beating USL Championship team Detroit City FC, 4-2, at Fitzpatrick Stadium. Kamara played the entire game in his first start for the Hearts and recorded two assists.
James played 59 minutes and had a pair of assists.
Maine returns to action at 7 p.m. Saturday at Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. The Hearts of Pine play their next home game on June 15 against Union Omaha.
