MADISON — Silas Tibbetts pitched a two-hitter, Jack Fitzpatrick smacked three hits, and the Skowhegan baseball team closed out its season with a 5-4 win over Messalonskee on Tuesday.
Jason Aubin and Grant Cram had two hits each for Skowhegan (6-10). Miller Foss had a single and two RBI.
Denny Martin homered for Messalonskee (8-7).
CONY 7, GARDINER 6: The Rams overcame five errors and took the lead with three runs in the sixth to close out the regular season with a rivalry win over the Tigers.
Cony (14-2) got a home run and three RBI from Anderson Noyes and two hits and two RBI from Trenton Hayward. Landen Perry earned the win, pitching five innings in relief.
Greyson Greenleaf had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored for Gardiner (7-9).
RICHMOND 16, CARRABEC 0: The Bobcats (15-0) remained undefeated by defeating the Cobras in a five-inning game at North Anson.
Cale Harrington homered and drove in three runs, and Ben Fournier had two hits, three RBI and scored three times for Richmond. Cody Fournier also had two hits and two RBI. Ben and Cody Fournier each hit a double.
Brady Alexander pitched all five innings for the Bobcats, striking out seven, walking one and allowing four hits.
Zack Davis finished with two hits for Carrabec (5-9).
LEAVITT 5, NOKOMIS 0: Trent Holst and Ryder Sawyer-Brown combined on a one-hit shutout as the Hornets (7-9) wrapped up their regular season with a big win over the Warriors (10-6) in Turner.
Holst struck out six batters and walked six while holding Nokomis hitless through 5 2/3 innings. Sawyer-Brown fanned two and allowed one hit in 1 2/3 inning on the mound.
Sawyer-Brown also excelled at the plate with two hits, including a double, an RBI and a run scored. Randan Hutchinson also had two hits and drove in a run, and he stole two bases. Nick Mellen drove in two runs on one hit, and Landon Marquis added a hit, an RBI and scored a run.
The Hornets, who moved up to seventh in the Class B South Heal point standings after the win, pulled away away with four fifth-inning runs.
Caden Chretian had the only hit for Nokomis, which is third in B North.
SOFTBALL
ERSKINE ACADEMY 1, WINSLOW 0: The Eagles closed out regular-season play with an eight-inning win over the Black Raiders in South China.
Kelsie Dunn pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts for Erskine (8-8) and smacked two hits at the plate. Kammie Thompson also had two hits.
Grace Melvin tossed a complete game with no earned runs for Winslow (5-11).
CARRABEC 16, RICHMOND 6: The Cobras plated nine runs in the second inning en route to a six-inning win over the Bobcats in North Anson.
Aiyana Tibbetts celebrated senior day with two hits — including a home run — and five RBI for Carrabec (12-2). Josephine Scheve and Jillian Robinson each added two hits.
Nicole Lindell had two hits for Richmond (7-9), while Brooklyn Harper and Charlotte Crawson doubled.
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 4, DIRIGO 3: Lillian Palleschi’s walk-off bunt single closed out a perfect regular season for the Mustangs (16-0) against the Cougars (11-5) in Monmouth.
Shannah Parsons pitched a complete game and had three hits. Rileigh Chase added two hits and scored the winning run.
LISBON 14, WINTHROP/MARANACOOK 1: An 11-run fourth inning triggered the mercy rule as Lisbon rolled to a win over Winthrop/Maranacook in a five-inning game in Lisbon.
Winthrop/Maranacook (4-12) scored in the top of the first inning when leadoff hitter Ella Rice was driven home by Cyara Harriman.
Lisbon (10-4) took the lead with three runs in the third.
Alivia Saunders led the Greyhounds with three hits, three RBI and three runs scored. Brynn Chase also had three hits and drove in two runs, and Aubrianna Bright singled and knocked in two runs.
Lisbon pitchers Mackenzie Eaton (two strikeouts in four innings) and Ava Kottmann (one strikeout in one inning) combined on a two-hitter.
Rice got both of Winthrop/Maranacook’s hits, including a triple.
GIRLS LACROSSE
LINCOLN ACADEMY 9, ERSKINE ACADEMY 6: Mariam DeLisle scored eight goals to lift Lincoln to a win in Newcastle.
Yzze Bhe also scored for Lincoln (10-4). Zofie Day had two assists, and Sammi Kopp had one assist. Ciara Stokes made eight saves.
Belle Pelotte scored four goals for Erskine (8-6). Maddy McNeff and Brooke Blaise each added a goal. Ellie Giampetruzzi had two assists, and Lauren Dufour made 13 saves.
