Michael L. Hallowell
LEEDS – Michael L. Hallowell, 74, of Leeds, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family following a lingering illness.
He was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Lewiston, the son of Wallace J. and Helen (Foss) Hallowell. He was a graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner. On June 21, 2002, in Leeds, he married Alice M. Daigle. Michael worked as a heavy equipment operator for CSR New England Pipe in Leeds. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music and was a homebody who loved being home.
He is survived by his wife, Alice, of Leeds; daughters Amy Loft and husband John of Hersey, Pa., and Bethany Liddiard and husband Michael of Virginia, sons Craig Hallowell and wife Jesse of Greene, and Douglas Hallowell of Iowa; six grandchildren, Hannah, Reed, Dexter, Brandon, Pam and Caitlyn; his brother, Russell Hallowell of Monmouth, and his sister, Alice Wilkins and husband Arthur of Canton.
He was predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Jeannie Hallowell; and brothers Wallace and Amasa Hallowell.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 25 at Leeds Plains Cemetery, Plains Road, in Leeds. Arrangements by Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, 707 Main St., in Monmouth.
