The trend of change in this week’s Varsity Maine polls didn’t have much of an impact on the boys lacrosse rankings. Falmouth is still No. 1 and York, Thornton Academy, Yarmouth and South Portland remain Nos. 2-5, in that order.

Falmouth, the season-long No. 1, and Thornton will face off in the Class A final, while York and Yarmouth meet in the Class B final for the second year in a row. Class C finalists Maranacook/Winthrop rejoins the rankings at No. 9. The Black Bears will face North Yarmouth Academy in the state final Friday night.

Cape Elizabeth gained respect from its semifinal loss to Falmouth, moving from eighth last week to sixth.

The Varsity Maine boys lacrosse poll is based on games played before June 19, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
