In its third year, this week’s Drive Fore Kids Golf Tournament at Falmouth Country Club has its most diverse lists of stars.

“We continue to diversify the field. So not everybody’s a sports fan, not everybody’s an entertainment fan,” said the tournament’s executive director, Brian Corcoran, at a news conference Thursday at the Canopy Hotel in Portland. “There’s a lot of New England sports fans, but we can have (Hally Leadbetter) and (Joey Graziadei) here bringing more modern media … and in the interest of our mission of driving charitable community and economic impact, we’ve got to really make sure we’re kind of opening the hearts and wallets of fans of all walks of life.”

Leadbetter, a former professional golfer and the senior producer of digital content for Golf Digest and GolfTV, and Graziadei, who has starred in The Bachelorette, The Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars, attended Thursday’s news conference, along with Lewiston native Tom Caron, a NESN broadcaster and Portland Hearts of Pine co-owner.

The Drive Fore Kids Golf Tournament will be held Thursday through Sunday next week. So far, this year’s event has raised $200,000 from tickets sales, with proceeds supporting the MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital and the Dempsey Center. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more the $500,000 toward pediatric care and cancer services.

“A big change is we’ve become very passionate about pediatric cancer and related care. And so, instead of being more broader fundraising for those two entities — we really narrowed in on (children’s cancer) this year,” Corcoran said. “Hopefully, our fundraising as a whole (for the Barbara Bush hospital and the Dempsey Center) enables them to provide more access and affordable services to Mainers.”

Other celebrities in the field include: former and current NHL stars TJ Oshie, Tyler Seguin, Tuukka Rask and Bob Sweeney; former NFL players Sterling Sharpe, Brian Hoyer and Dwight Freeney; and actors Michael Pena and Carly Chaikin.

Caron, a Lewiston native, is impressed by the field.

“(Participating) means so much because it’s such a cool event, and it’s grown so much over the last couple of years. These are legitimate superstars and actors and Hall of Famers and they’re all coming in,” Caron said.“Just being a local guy who gets to be part of it is amazing.”

Caron will play with Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Rice, who is on NESN’s pregame and postgame show with Caron, as well as Keith Foulke, who recorded the final out in the 2004 World Series when the Red Sox ended their 86-year championship drought.

“So that’s our threesome on Saturday, it’s pretty cool. I know those guys, so hopefully I can get them to loosen up to the crowd a little bit and still be a little bit of the interviewer guy,” Caron said.

Derek Lowe, a member of that 2004 Red Sox team, andJon Lester, who won titles with Boston in 2007 and 2013, are also in the field.

The tournament kicks off Thursday with a “Celeb-Am.” Competitive play starts Saturday at 10:15 a.m., and a winner will be crowned on Sunday.
