President Trump blundered into the endless conflict between Israel and Iran, without the consent of Congress, sweeping aside one of the very bulwarks of the U.S. Constitution. He has unleashed weapons of mass destruction in a perilous world, creating an aftermath of violent global instability.
I implore Congress to take back the powers that rightfully belong to it and to stop the erosion, which has made it possible for one man, who rules without insight or discernment, to make far-reaching decisions which will come back to haunt us all.
