Bradley “Brad” Joseph Taylor
MADISON – Bradley “Brad” Joseph Taylor, 26, was born Nov. 11, 1998, to Stephen and Kelly Taylor. He joined his parents and his then, 3-year-old sister, Courtney Shea Taylor, to complete their family. Brad immediately became his sister’s other half, and they will hold that bond for eternity. Brad graduated from Maine Academy of Natural Sciences in 2017 and began working with his father in the construction field, paving.
From a very young age Brad had an adventurous soul with a keen sense of humor and a love for harmless mischief. He had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, four wheeling, snowmobiling, skiing and anything else that involved adventure. He recently gained a passion for forging metal, knives. No matter where he was or what he was doing, he was always one to bring laughter to the occasion, his infectious laugh will never be forgotten.
Brad was a loyal, compassionate friend to many, with a heart of gold. Brad was devoted to his mother and sister as they were to him. He cherished his two nephews, Coven and Conrí and they returned that love whole-heartedly, he was their best friend. Brad had a special relationship with his grandparents, Helen Taylor and Dale and Beatrice “Dee” Laweryson. He loved and was loved by all his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bradley suffered a tragic loss of his best friend in 2015, this was a significantly traumatic event for many and impacted Brad immensely. He never seemed to completely come to terms with this trauma and struggled with life. He made many successful short term attempts to beat his addiction but despite his true desire to win this fight and his genuine heart, the struggling finally caught up with him. No matter how loving and giving he was, he could not gain control of his demons before they took him from us on March 25, 2025.
We know for certain that Brad would want others to learn from his struggle.
Brad leaves behind his parents, Stephen and Kelly Taylor of Madison; his sister and her significant other and their two boys, Cody Wolf, Courtney Taylor and Coven and Conrí Wolf of Mercer; grandmother, Beatrice “Dee” Laweryson of Moscow; several aunts, uncles; and cousins; and his beloved yellow lab, Roscoe.
