The Binghamton Rumble Ponies scored two runs in the seventh inning to beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 3-1, on Friday night in Binghamton, New York.
Portland, which has dropped three straight, took a 1-0 lead an RBI single by Max Ferguson in the fourth inning. The Rumble Ponies tied it on a solo home run by Jacob Reimer in the sixth. In the seventh, Nick Morabito walked with the bases loaded and Reimer hit an RBI single.
Noah Song took the loss for the Sea Dogs, allowing three runs on one hit and four walks in 1 2/3 innings. Starting Dalton Rogers pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing five hits, walking one and striking one and striking out four.
Binghamton starter Jonah Tong allowed one run on three hits, while striking out eight and walking three.
