Andre Clark, Marshwood: The fastest sprinter in state history set Maine records in the 100- and 200-meter dashes in the spring, won state titles in both events and anchored the Class A meet-record setting 4×100 relay. During the indoor season, he won the New England title in the 55 and the Class A title in the 200.
Kaiden Delano, Oak Hill: One of the most prolific running backs in the state during the football season, gaining 1,576 yards and scoring 23 touchdowns. The future Southern New Hampshire University lacrosse player might have been even better in the spring, scoring 68 goals, dishing out 11 assists, and winning 82.6% of his faceoffs.

Sam Laverdiere, Lake Region: Laverdiere dominated distance running in all three seasons, winning Class B titles in cross country; the indoor 800 meters, the 1-mile and 2-mile; and the outdoor 800, 1,600 and 3,200. His times in each race — except the indoor 800 — were the fastest in all classes. Also earned the New England title in the outdoor 1,600 meters.
Arnaud Sioho, South Portland: Sioho set the Maine indoor triple jump record during the indoor season before winning state titles in the long and triple jumps with Class A meet-record marks, all of which earned him the honor of Varsity Maine Boys Indoor Track Athlete of the Year. Finished second with a PR in the long jump at New Englands. Limited by injury during the outdoor season, but still won Class A long and triple jump championships.
