All nine first-place votes in the first Varsity Maine boys soccer top 10 poll of the season went to teams expected to contend for the Class A title.
Scarborough and Camden Hills each received four No. 1 votes, and Lewiston got one. The Red Storm are ranked first after a season-opening win over Portland, while the Windjammers are second and the Blue Devils third.
Class B contenders Greely and Yarmouth are fourth and fifth, respectively.
The Varsity Maine boys soccer poll is based on games played before Sept. 9, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
