The Binghamton Rumble Ponies scored an unearned run in bottom of the ninth inning Friday night for a 5-4 walk-off win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game in Binghamton, New York.
Jefrey De Los Santos reached on a one-out throwing error by shortstop Franklin Arias, advanced to second on a walk and scored on Jacob Reimer’s two-out single.
Marvin Alcantara, Juan Chacon and Ahbram Liendo all had two hits for the Sea Dogs, who took the lead with three runs in the fifth inning. Binghamton tied it in the seventh on a De Los Santos home run.
Sea Dogs starting pitcher Caleb Bowden gave up six hits and two runs over five innings, with six strikeouts and one walk.
