
Shaun David McFarlin
AUGUSTA – Shaun David McFarlin, 54, passed away on Sept. 4, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Wolfeboro, N.H., to Frederick Marshall McFarlin and Lois Day. Like his father, Shaun was self-employed as a roofer doing business as Action Roofing and Construction. He attended the First United Pentecostal Church of Augusta.
He was predeceased by his father, Frederick “Ricky” McFarlin of Casselberry, Fla.
Shaun is survived by his wife, Linda McFarlin, of Augusta; his mother, Lois Day McFarlin and his aunt, Victoria Brown, both of Lincolnville; his children, Hope Champagne, Blake McFarlin and Noah McFarlin; his brother, Brian McFarlin of Milton, Ga., and sisters Lisa McFarlin of Rumford, and Lori McFarlin of Westminster, Md. Shaun loved kids and especially his four grandchildren, Elaina, Juliana, Nicholas and Gabriel.
A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 4, at 12 p.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church at 15 Wilson St. in Augusta.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of the Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta.
