Grace McKay drilled a free kick from 35 yards for the tying goal with about 4 minutes remaining in regulation as Messalonskee salvaged a 1-1 draw at Brewer in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls soccer match Thursday night.
Brewer led 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Julia Spencer.
Messalonskee keeper Kiana Carrier made four saves. Brewer’s Gabby Chasse stopped five shots.
