Gov. Janet Mills is too old to become a freshman U.S. senator. She needs to retire successfully as governor. We need younger people with greater energy and new ideas. She would be 84 years old before her term expires.
In recent photographs, Gov. Mills looks extraordinarily tired. She appears to have little patience with people with whom she disagrees. She should not run for the U.S. Senate and is not a good choice.
