Augusta, we deserve good things.
That is why I urge you to reelect Rita Pello as an at-large member of the Board of Education.
During her term, she has supported alternate pathways to education, district-wide technological integration and equal access to services across neighborhood elementary schools. Our schools benefit from Rita’s understanding of educational systems.
Rita believes deeply in the right of every child to access the power of education. As a city councilor, I witness this passion when Rita advocates for a responsible school budget. As a parent, I see Rita weigh the potential impact of board policy decisions. As a friend, I experience Rita as a builder of the proverbial village, and every child in it is loved, seen and cared for.
Vote for Rita Pello this Nov. 4 (or absentee throughout October) to keep good things happening in our schools, for our kids, and for our community.
