Braden New scored the lone goal to lift Oak Hill a 1-0 win over Richmond in a boys soccer game Monday in Wales.
Oak Hill improved to 8-4, while Richmond fell to 4-7-1.
MARANACOOK 2, BUCKFIELD 1: Henry Tarbuck and Royce Watson both headed in corner kicks by Wyatt Marco, and the Black Bears (5-4-3) beat the Bucks (7-4-1) in Buckfield.
Jacoby Burmeister headed in a corner kick by Querino Petrocelli for Buckfield.
Maranacook keeper Grant Walters stopped six shots. Buckfield’s Neil Haylock had 10 saves.
GIRLS SOCCER
RICHMOND 8, VINALHAVEN/NORTH HAVEN 1: Brooke Fournier scored five goals to lift the Bobcats (12-0) past the Vinalhaven/North Haven co-op (1-6) in Richmond.
Aubrey Swift added three goals.
MADISON 7, WISCASSET/BOOTHBAY 1: Jaelyn Rich scored four times and the Bulldogs (8-4) beat the Wiscasset/Boothbay co-op (3-7) in Madison.
Jillian Linkletter added two goals and Brookelyn Rich scored once.
FIELD HOCKEY
MCI 5, MORSE 2: Charlotte Peasley scored two goals and Kelsey Pomeroy had a goal and two assists to lead the Huskies (8-5) past the Shipbuilders (2-9) in Bath.
Riley Williams also scored and Izzabelle Bertocchi made three saves for MCI.
Addie Cerbaugh and Laura Kelley scored for Morse. Audrey Taylor had an assist.
