There is an abnormal lack of change in the Varsity Maine boys soccer poll. The top eight teams are the same as last week — even the tie for fifth between Greely and Gorham remains intact.

The only a significant change in the top eight is that No. 1 Scarborough’s lead at the top has grown from four points to 15. The Red Storm also added a first-place vote. The main reason for Scarborough’s gains is South Portland’s 2-1 victory over second-place Falmouth. The Red Riots were rewarded by moving into the polls at No. 9.

Lewiston remains third, but Class A North is a tough race to call, as evidenced by the Blue Devils’ most recent results — ties against No. 4 Camden Hills and No. 7 Brunswick.

The Varsity Maine boys soccer poll is based on games played before Oct. 14, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
